This is the big announcement we have been waiting for and it’s now OFFICIAL. Rotten Puppets has joined the MyPod Studios Network of content creators. MyPod Studios is bringing the video content to fans in a whole new way. Colorful web portals that catch the audiences eye, are easy to navigate, and simple to jump from video to video. You can come check ours out at the all new Rotten Puppets Pod hosting by the MyPod gang. We are going to have some exclusive MyPod videos coming out soon including our official introduction to the network! And rest assured… it will be fantastic!

What are we doing on MyPod studios?

That’s pretty simple to explain. We are finding alternative ways to deliver our content to viewers new and old alike. We have a pretty large cache of content already developed that pretty much just sits there if nobody talks about it, shows it, promotes it, etc. MyPod Studios gives us a fresh and new outlet for showing our content to the masses. Think of it as an invite-online YouTube where it gets rid of the random 1 shot wonders, junk videos, etc. Only folks who actually make and deliver content are on this network which increases the quality dramatically for the viewers.

What about Rotten Puppets home page? Will MyPod Studios change anything?

100% NO. Rottenpuppets.com is going nowhere. If anything it’s going to help us grow the backend / story / behind the scenes part of what Rotten Puppets does even more than ever with this MyPod partnership. We can keep the videos there in an awesome to see format, tease them here on the main homepage, and then use the blog site here to deliver a much more mixed media format. Like our favorite actor Charlie Sheen says… Winning!

It’s a MySpace world and we’re all living in it.

We have been debating here at Rotten Puppets which sites we want to be a part of going forward, and which are of lesser importance to us as artists. Social Media and web 2.0 is a very time consuming process and the truth is we just don’t have enough time in the day to be a part of them all with our current support network of people. So we’re narrowing things down to a few places and we want MySpace to be a big part of it. I know what you’re saying, My_____ is dead. Wrong. It’s being reborn. It was just sold this week for 1/20th of it’s original purchase price so yeah someone got a good deal. But they’re in the process of rebranding and refocusing themselves more onto ARTISTS which is exactly what we like about it.

Rotten Puppets is back on Myspace.

It’s pretty vanilla right now but we’re going to start spending more and more time customizing it and preparing it for the future of Rotten Puppets which is looking better and better every day.

Our plans for Myspace and beyond:

Currently Rotten Puppets has a portal on Myspace, Twitter, YouTube (we are a YouTube partner now), and a Facebook account that we don’t really use (but we plan on making a Facebook PAGE in the near future instead so you can “like” us). We also have a new media partnership in the works for video delivery that we will announce in a separate post when the timing is right. Basically we have found a partner who wants to use our content and make us one of their on-site comedic acts. We’re also working on a special introduction video currently to announce our partnership with them properly.. These are going to be our main media outlets going forward here at Rotten Puppets.

We’ve got dozens and dozens of videos in our library of videos already and it’s time to pick up the ball and score a few more touchdowns. Enjoy the ride and welcome back Myspace!

The storm is brewing.. It’s been a long time since the Rotten Puppets wing of the world has been sending out internet cruise missiles but that time is drawing near once again. We have a partnership ready to be announced in the next week or so that is going to be a great thing for us here on the site and it’s motivating us to get the hell off our asses and next level this motherfucker because it needs to be done.

So we gave the site a facelift! It’s been running on WordPress for a while now so making a change like this is a lot less work than when it used to be an HTML mess of pages. Gotta love that technology, that’s some futuristic 2020 stuff. So the new design is in place, and will get a few tweaks over the next week while we fix up anything that’s broke.

Puppet to be named here is getting a voice that’s going to blow your SOCKS OFF and get your rocks off all at the same time. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED it’s going to be filthy rotten and well deserving of the Rotten Puppets name. The days our softball PC humor are gone. You get 1 thing and 1 thing only from Rotten Puppets moving forward. Unnecessary raunchy behavior and the well deserved disgust that comes from it. So what, you didn’t think Weinergate would bring us out of the woodwork?

Of course it will! Weinergate is the single greatest thing to happen since the Spitzer Sex Scandal a few years ago. Nothing really will make the political circles happier than these Weinergate type of events. So the brass tax of it all is that Anthony Weiner shows his cock to lots of young girls on sites like Twitter, Facebook, private e-mail, and who knows where else. Lies all over the media about it when caught. And then once realizing “oh fuck i’m really caught here” FINALLY mans up and admits that it’s his junk in the photos and he sent it.

Now to make Weinergate even spicier it’s coming out that there’s a pile of bitches lined up waiting to take a bite out of his oscar meyer weiner, and he was a sexting fiend! Asking chicks if they like to suck dick and then telling them he’s going to take a shower. You know, CLASSY STUFF FOR A POLITICIAN.. Then again by the standards of the politicians set in the past 10-15 years with guys like Mark Sanford and his out of country love interest, Edwards making babies while his wife dies of cancer, and good ole Willy Billy Clinton shooting mansauce on fat girls in the office; are we really expecting too much from them? This Weinergate fiasco I fear is far, far from over.

YouTube wants to have our baby!

So here’s the story. A couple of months ago before we started inviting Wolfun here to RP for his takes on life we applied to the YouTube Partner Program. It said it might take a while. Timing as it has it, Wolfun is coming back strong in 2011 and the day before 2010 ends we get the email.

RP has been approved as a YouTube Partner!

So now we can make a customized YouTube page of our own brand of lunacy and take over the YouTube universe. We’re on the warpath now with guns blazing. We know this post went up 2 months ago (this update is March 1) but just because we’ve been out of the loop for a while doesn’t mean we’ve rolled over and died. Life makes you roll with it sometimes, and we’ve stopped rolling and now we are READY TO ROCK!

You can check out our page now and know it sucks. We’re working on a new version of it now and should have our updated YouTube page ready ASAP.

The Wolf is back, and he’s hungry and as vulgar as ever. He is a HUGE NBA fan and has been sidetracked by the magical season the New York Knicks have been having as of late. Hey everyone. It’s been about 1.5 years since we’ve put up the Blog-styled site here at the ‘ole RP and it’s time for some change. So excuse our appearance as we update the site over this Turkey-basting holiday. So grab a glass of turkey juice, dip your love parts in deep, and have a wonderful holiday and eat a lot of turkey. They didn’t kill all those birds for nothing!!

The new site/theme is already in process of being put in place, and we have to edit a lot of the prior posts to fit the template and it’s auto-formatting of video. Should make for yet another way to get video out quicker on the site which is always a happy go snarky thing.

UPDATE: Making good progress. Everything on the site works, just a matter of tweaking the details, updating older posts, etc. More important is we have a new character coming to the Rotten Puppets Universe, and we’ll unveil him.. whoops I said him.. well at least details about him some time this week. Hopefully he’ll be ready to join the show in the next couple of weeks in time to give you a mouthful of his holiday cheer.

Hey folks. I don’t know how many of you know this but Wolfun was abducted a couple of months ago and hadn’t been making his happy go snarky vlogs. We’ve had all puppets on deck looking for this guy and we have finally found him! He was not in the best condition and appeared to be molested both mentally and physically. He’s damaged goods now that’s for sure and is going to be more R-Rated than ever before. So if you came here looking for childrens videos, people jerking off in public libraries with ventriloquist dummies on their laps, and all that kind of “typical puppet shit” you are sadly, sadly mistaken.

We have made a decision here at Rotten Puppets, and that is to be MORE ROTTEN. Not just a little more Rotten, but we’re talking full blown AIDS rotten. Some of you may say “what jerks” and leave to never be seen or heard from again. That’s ok, we’ll just make fun of you on the way out.

So be on the lookout, he’ll be back for the holidays with his own kind of holiday jeer!

Hey folks. Just wanted to drop in for a quick update since it’s been a few days (5 to be exact) and with my new motivation to keep things moving here at the ole RP I figured what better time than Monday morning to swing by and give an update for what’s going on this week here in our Universe of insanity.

The show while didn’t have a Thursday episode last week (sorry but Wolfun had a really bad fur ball) we are back on track this week for Tuesday/Thursday @ 3:33pm EST. We also are working on a couple extra shorts, things that people can use all the time. Like a generic Happy Birthday video you can send to friends, co-workers, loved ones, the local soda shop, etc. Wolfun thinks it’s a good idea and way for him to give back so I’m down with that and will be recording his birthday song sometime this week.

Up this week on the show we’re going to be talking about the acclaimed TV show, “The Colony”. Also, the new Iron Maiden album “The Final Frontier” was released last week and we have a short video review that will be in one of this weeks show. And a couple other topics that Wolfun needs to discuss with the audience. The YouTube channel is growing well and we want to thank everyone who has joined and been a part of our starting up. We have a LOOONNNGGGG way to go no doubt, and we hope you enjoy our crazy ride there. The goal is to bring everyone who likes Vlogs and Vlogging something different, out of the ordinary. We’re not video guru’s or R&B musicians here. Just a bunch of NY Jerk-offs with a Dollar and a Dream. Let’s see what happens!

For the website here, I realize in many ways it’s just becoming the vehicle for PR/distribution and we never finished up things like the Cast Bio’s, or the online store. Have no fear every week once we finish the 2 RP Show episodes we’re going to start putting more time into closing up those 2 projects and getting things online. I think currently on our Zazzle store (you can see on the right sidebar) we have a Zibble keychain, and nothing more. Fucking sad I tell ya. On the bright side, we have 90% of the artwork ready to go so it’s only a matter of time before it’s up and available.
