We’re going to still keep the separate sites, but we’re re-merging the YouTube channel for the same of consistency and making our lives easier as we move the sites to the next step of promotion and establishing our online presence. The style is still a little bland, once the rest of the Photoshop work is done it should be a little spicier on the eyes. Rather get the new format of the site up early to test instead of waiting on imagery. We’ve changed some things around, modified existing parts of the site, removed some, and added a bunch of new stuff too! Can’t say we’re not busy that’s for sure. Well you could, but then we’d have to kill you. And Zibble has been raging lately with not being on film so what he’s up to is anyones game.

Here’s a list of some of the changes we’ve made here at the good ‘ole RP:

• Updated Comments section. The old comments well.. I’m not even 100% sure they worked! But they do now and look fabulous!!
• Facebook “Like” button. Share the site with your Facebook friends. Help spread the word! Click on the like button under the title of each article!
• Video delivery updated. We’ve added Tubepress. See Videos at the top of the page there? Give it a click and you can enjoy everything Rotten Puppets has to offer. Peruse through the movies and watch whatever you’re in the mood for. We have plenty of content up now so by all means sit back, crack open your favorite cold one, and enjoy!
• Subscribe to Posts and Feeds up on all pages now to make it easy to follow what we’re up to here at Rotten Puppets.

We’re getting all kinds of juicy things sent to the email account over at the Obamadome. It’s pretty funny I gotta tell ya. Political satire (especially when it’s 1 sided) isn’t really our thing but to see the reactions is can illicit from people is downright hysterical. I’m amazed that these freaks don’t just explode or something! We’re been busy @ the Obamadome and I thought I’d post up a bunch of links for those of you who haven’t taken a journey there yet..

Obama pardons a Terrorist is the latest short where we reveal one of the guest characters from Rotten Puppets heading over to the Obamadome.. Yup you guessed it.. Terry East! And the twist at the end is shocking and will set the tone for the “spoof” videos on Obamadome that will be more comic relief than political. I know some people just want slam video after slam video, but that’s not our style so we need Terry to fill in here and there.. Max & RJ Smythe make an appearance as well (they’re bodyguards)…

3 Things to Save America is the another video and a juicy one at that. Touching some simple details about the world around us and what Fuhrer Obama can do to improve our great nation.. Well he tries at least. His brain is filled with FOAM so what can you really expect?

Superpower or Superhero? is just a simple take on Obama basically not liking to have to refer to our great nation as a Superpower, and Sarah Palin went on record saying he’s a bitch for not wanting to strut our stuff and be the cocks of the walk so to speak.. Too bad she didn’t run as Obama’s VP, that would have made for some tasty interracial puppet porn if ya know what I’m saying..

Obamadome Update… is a post from: Rotten Puppets

Well folks, it’s a long process in the making of ‘A Terry East Moment‘. And the first major hurdle is now complete. The detailed accounts of all 50 episodes are written, scripted, and ready to rock and roll. Filming will start real soon, and the April 1st, 2010 date is a 100% solid as a rock given. 4 weeks and a day until Episode 01. It’s packed with thrill and adventure for the story driven parts of the series, and comedic pause and laughter for the variety act side of it. You’ll be taken to back alleys, strips clubs that have a peculiar type of star, and the office of the President. And that’s just in the first week or so! Kidnappings, beatings, and fond reunions with old pals will all take place over the course of the 50 webshows too. Not a whole lot is stopping this freight train of crazy so step on board April 1st, 2010 and enjoy the show!

Season 1 is a start. A first attempt with lots of room to grow and improve. An opening if you will, on what is to be in this series. Season 2 (which is already being worked on) will be longer episodes, with a shorter total probably down to 15-25 episodes. But it will focus more on the action / adventure story presented in Season 1, opposed to keeping it’s more “Variety + Story” style that it is currently set up as for this first series of webisodes. But hey, 50 shorts is better than 0 anythings so who can complain!

Some new graphics coming out in the next couple of days for the shows logo’s, it’s an ongoing process and never easy when you’re dealing with a terrorist that thinks he has a flair for style. If army jackets were style, Terry East would be very much so in-style! But it’s not and neither is he. He’ll just have to settle for knowing how to blow things up and tie people to chairs and interrogate them. We all have our skills!

The official cast of characters will have a page setup for them in the next week or two. As the characters are released in the the episodes, they will be added to the cast page. Nobody wants to give away a secret before the time is due.. right? RIGHT!

Hey everyone, just wanted to make it known that ‘A Terry East Moment‘ has been changed from March 10th, 2010 to April 1st, 2010. The extra few weeks will give us the time needed to finish it all up and make sure it’s ready to go. There’s a lot more work to putting together 50 episodes to be released than originally expected!!

WHO IS TERRY EAST AND WHY ON EARTH DID SOMEONE GIVE HIM A CAMERA CREW?

Terry East came from a country in the Middle East called Afpupistan (pronounced Aah-pupi-stan). His hometown of Goateluv (pronounced Goat-love) was up in the mountains but that didn’t stop him from crossing the boundaries of his culture and having his wife Oumelda (pronounced Ooo-Meld-A) who just happens to be a Camel and not your every day human like the rest.

Terry was then BANISHED fromhis hometown of Goateluv, assembled a camera crew, and is ready to unleash his own brand of havoc upon the global air waves. Oumelda has been hidden somewhere in the mountains and until Terry gets his act together he’s not going to be able to get back up there anytime soon.

He’s going to need the help of friends.

I figured I would detail a little better what exactly we are going to be doing here over the next few weeks while getting the rest of ‘A Terry East Moment‘ filmed, produced, and prepared for the web show. The goal is to provide a more complete RP Universe to the casual viewer, and a more robust and detailed experience for the fan more into it. This way everyone can take the experience at their own pace. The new website setup last year was a giant leap forward in the ability and ease of getting more content out to the site.

Overall, I think it has done well and proven itself to be an easy model to keep up and get more content visible from the main site without heavy navigation or time spent waiting. This all happened during a 12-14 month period of my personally moving to a new location, having to break down and setup EVERYTHING, etc. It’s been a long year but we’re starting to come out of the dust and making leaps forward in our goals. The master plan as it is called by some has only just begun.

With the release of ‘A Terry East Moment‘ we want to make sure we are offering more of a full experience to anyone coming to the website. So this led to the idea of bringing back what we once had for a short while 2+ years ago. A message board. (www.rottenforums.com) Based off the brand spanking new vBulletin 4.x series. It’s a slick system with a built in front-end for articles, a blogging system, stellar message boards, and plenty of things to add-on in the future. It will have a news like splash page just like Rotten Puppets but it will be completely about itself and that of supporting the RP Universe.

Whether it’s a contest entry, a message from one of the Cast Members exclusive to the forums, a fan art submission, etc. Overall though, you will be able to see just about all of the same Official Content (aka movie releases) on both sites, with the forums being more involved, more fan participation, more cast participation. Meanwhile the main RP site will remain as more of the showcase/ display it has become. Like all good things it will take some time to build and get started but we promise the final product will be enjoyable.

Well the time has come. Someone screwed up and gave Terry East the opportunity to do a small photo / video shoot. And what happened?? Well Terry ran off with the entire camera crew and now they are all working for him! Hey everyone, it’s been a while since the last update so I wanted to fill everyone in on what’s going on around here. The workshop has been overwhelmed again but we’re just about done with the current string of creations and ready to move our efforts back into the side of filming. The writing for the first mini-Season as it will be called is deep underway and nearing completion. Details in a moment..

Terry East has arrived in the land of Rotten Puppets. You have all been warned it’s going to get spicy from here. We are feverishly working on a series of mini episodes entitled “A Terry East Moment” where Terry will share his story, tell some jokes, and generally have fun at everyones expense. The current release date we are hoping for to kick this off is going to be March 10th, 2010 and it will be 50 episodes coming out Weekdays. Just what you need to spice up that boring office job every day, or to watch at night in the library of your local prison. 10 weeks of non-stop Rottenville madness. What more could you ask for?
